No matter what your calling is in life, no matter what path you choose to take, your levels of energy and endurance will have a dramatic effect on the quality of your walk and the rate at which you progress. It doesn’t matter how many dreams you have or how many promises you’ve been given, you cannot reach your maximum potential if you are not running at maximum efficiency. The question is…are you?
There are many reasons why your levels of energy and endurance may be lower than optimal. Extra weight is the one of the common of these reasons here in the United States. Even if you are at a healthy weight, you may not be eating the types of food that your body prefers. You may also not be getting enough of the nutrients, vitamins, and minerals that you need. Then of course there are fitness and activity levels.
Over the next few weeks we are going to look at how each of these can play a part in your daily success and what you can do to correct them and their effects. We will touch the surface of building new habits surrounding each one and launch ourselves into a new state of existence.
Hopefully at the end of the series we will be feeling better and ready to take on all that Elohim has in store for us.
So for this week take some time to evaluate your current energy and endurance levels considering these areas:
1. Do you wake up tired, even though you’ve had the recommended amount of sleep?
2. Are you able to stay actively engaged in your duties for the full span of daylight hours?
3. Do you swell or feel bloated often?
4. How well do you do on common fitness tests?
As you evaluate these areas over the course of the week, be sure to spend time with the Father. Let His Spirit reveal to you all that He wants you to consider and work on. Ask Him to show you what your optimal performance levels look like. We all want to be and do our best for the Kingdom and there is no better time like the present to get started.
